The environmental consciousness of a piece of paper can take many different forms and be determined in different ways by different people. The term "paper" itself refers to a wide range of products, from printing papers, communication papers and the base materials for cardboard boxes to toilet paper, tissues and a variety of other products.
Each product has a specific function and character and is made from the most optimal materials and processes to bring out those properties and in a way that reduces its burden on the environment. Environmentally Conscious Products
Printing Paper
Packaging (Corrugated boxes, paper molds, paper packaging containers and their base papers)
Predominantly made from used corrugated boxes, which are renowned for their recycling excellence. Almost all paperboard used in the production of paper packaging, such as point-of-purchase containers, contains recycled base paper material.
Household Paper (Sanitary paper applications)
Papers such as toilet paper and tissues can not be recycled once they have been used. Therefore it is important that such products are made using recycled fiber to ensure the most effective use of limited resources.
Non-paper Environmentally Conscious Products
Raw Materials and Fuels (Plastic pellets, fluff, RPF)
The JP Group is focusing its efforts on the production and sale of raw materials and fuels derived from the recycling of waste plastics, paper and wooden materials.
- *Plastic Pellets
- Waste plastics are sorted according to their constituent materials and then pelletized. These pellets are then used as raw materials in the production of a variety of different plastic products and as such contribute to curbing the use of fossil fuels.
- *Fluff
- Material in film and sheet form is cut up into 30mm lengths and then used as a raw fuel in the cement production process. Fluff is utilized because it burns better and faster than granulated fuels.
- *RPF
- A solid fuel derived from waste plastics, papers and wood fibers that are considered unsuitable for other forms of recycling. Used as a substitute fuel in place of coke and coal.
