In 2010, JP acquired Gould Paper Corporation, a paper merchant headquartered in New York, USA. This investment brought the JP Group network, which had been expanding predominantly throughout the Pacific Rim with a particular focus on Asia and the west coast of the USA, together with merchants including the influential Price & Pierce paper merchant group. In doing so, this created a network with a greatly increased presence throughout the Pacific Rim area and resulted in the establishment of a procurement and supply structure with a truly global coverage.
