Expanding the Possibilities of Paper

Whether it be the ability to block the flow of electrical current or to absorb liquids, paper exhibits a variety of properties. Being such a workable material also means that performing any number of a variety of processing options can add further and completely different qualities to that paper. Papers used in applications that take advantage of such special properties and capabilities are called Specialties and Functional Papers respectively. Their use in applications such as electrical components and construction materials are yet further examples of how paper supports our daily lives in ways that may not always be obvious.
