European countries account for one of the largest share of paper and paperboard consumption per capita. Our group has operations in Germany, the United Kingdom, Ireland and France, and offers a wide range of products from printing papers and specialty papers to packaging, converted paper products, and sign and display-related products. In particular, Premier Paper Group, the U.K.'s leading paper distributor, has built a nationwide sales system that utilizes its efficient inventory and delivery capabilities.
In fiscal 2024, six companies located in Germany, France, and Portugal were newly added to the group, strengthening our business foundation in Europe.
