Even if you have mailed in your Proxy Voting Form, you may still attend the General Meeting of Shareholders by verifying your identity at the reception desk.

As a general rule, only shareholders are permitted to attend the meeting.

When are the record dates for dividends?
A.

For the year-end dividend, shareholders who are listed in the shareholder registry as of March 31 are eligible for payment. For the interim dividend, shareholders registered as of September 30 are eligible. For further details, please contact the securities firm or financial institution where your account is held.

How is the dividend amount decided?
A.

Decisions are made in accordance with our Articles of Incorporation.

If the dividend payment period has expired, please complete the required sections on the dividend receipt, affix your personal seal, and send it to Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank. Please be aware that, in accordance with our Articles of Incorporation, dividends cannot be paid after five years from the payment start date. We kindly suggest that you complete the process as soon as possible.

Q.
I forgot which securities firm holds my shares. What should I do?
A.

As we are unable to determine where your stocks are held, please check the transaction balance statements and other documents sent to you by your securities firm. If you cannot confirm this information via mail or other means, you can request disclosure of your registered subscriber information (for a fee) from the Japan Securities Depository Center. This will allow you to confirm the securities firm where you have an account. For details, please refer to Request for Disclosure of Registered Subscriber Information (External Site) (this website is only available in Japanese).

Questions About our Shareholder Benefits

Q.
Are there special benefits for shareholders?
A.

Shareholders who are recorded in our shareholder registry as owning five units (500 shares) or more as of March 31 are eligible to receive one case of One-Touch Coreless N Toilet Paper (single 130m × 24 rolls [coreless])* made by our group company Corelex, regardless of the number of shares they own.
*At present we are only able to ship to addresses in Japan

By when do I need to purchase shares to receive the shareholder benefits?
A.

Shareholders who are recorded in the shareholder registry as of March 31 will be eligible to receive the benefits.
For further details, please contact the securities firm or financial institution where your account is held.

When will I receive my shareholder benefits?
A.

Shipping of benefits begins in late June each year, with shipments sent out in order.

Q.
If I have moved, will I be able to receive the shareholder benefits at my new address?
A.
Shareholder benefits are sent to the Japanese address of shareholders as recorded in our registry as of March 31. If you wish to change your address or update your registered address, please follow the procedures below (only for addresses in Japan):

If you choose to make a request through the shareholder registry administrator (Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank), please be aware that you must specify all the stocks for which you wish to request paper delivery, and that a separate written request is required for each stock.

Is it possible to receive the materials for the General Meeting of Shareholders in paper form?
A.

Following the enforcement on September 1, 2022, of the Electronic Provision System for meeting materials for the General Meeting of Shareholders, materials for meetings held from March 2023 onward are, in principle, provided online instead of by e-mail.
If you wish to request paper-based materials for the shareholders meeting held every year in late June, please fill out a Request for Delivery of Paper-Based Documents form with Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank, the administrator of our shareholder registry, or with the securities firm or financial institution where your account is held.
