Background to Establishment

Japan Pulp and Paper has been exporting paper products to Middle Eastern countries including Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Egypt and to the surrounding region for almost 30 years. In addition to the rising demand for paper produce that has accompanied the rapid economic development in recent years, product diversification and an increasingly segmented market have become quite pronounced. Given this and with an eye to future incorporation, Japan Pulp and Paper has established a new representative office that will be primarily commissioned with researching the economic and market situations in the Middle East region.
