Gould Paper Corporation* (Headquartered in New York, USA), a consolidated subsidiary of Japan Pulp and Paper Company Limited (Hereinafter, JP), recently established a new sales company, Talico do Brasil Comércio, Importação e Distribuição de Papéis Ltda (Hereinafter, Talico do Brasil) in the Brazilian city of Sao Paulo.
JP’s involvement in the Brazilian market includes the importation of goods originating in Japan and trilateral trade, while Gould Paper Corporation’s subsidiary, Price & Pierce, has continued to expand its activities in both overseas trade with Brazil and trading within the domestic Brazilian market. On this occasion, with the establishment of Talico do Brasil, the JP Group aims to strengthen its sales network in Brazil and further enhance its efforts to meet the vast demands of the ever-growing Brazilian economy, particularly in areas including printing papers for books and advertising materials and specialty papers.
