BJ Ball Pty Ltd. and K.W. Doggett & Co Pty Ltd, both of which joined the Japan Pulp & Paper Group on July 3, 2017 as new Australian members, are proceeding with the integration of their businesses to take a new step forward as Ball & Doggett Pty Ltd. (hereinafter “Ball & Doggett”) as of July 31, 2017.

The integrated Ball & Doggett will operate from six business locations in Australia. In addition, BJ Ball Limited (hereinafter “BJ Ball NZ”), which joined our Group on the same day as the two Australian members, is operating from five locations in New Zealand, which altogether makes 11 locations in the region. Each of the 11 business locations operated by Ball & Doggett and BJ Ball NZ is equipped with warehousing and distribution capabilities, making the Japan Pulp & Paper Group the largest wholesaler of paper, paperboard, ink and other related products in the Oceania region.

With the addition of Ball & Doggett and BJ Ball NZ, the Japan Pulp & Paper Group currently has 75 operation sites outside of Japan in 23 countries. As a result, it has greatly enhanced its presence in the paper wholesale market in the Oceania region and is now well positioned to further leverage and strengthen the Group’s global network and promote synergy across the entire group by supplying Ball＆Doggett and BJ Ball NZ with the diverse range of products the Japan Pulp & Paper Group handles.
