Aarque Group Strengthens its Sales Structure in the Sign and Display Market

Aarque Group Limited (head office: Auckland, New Zealand; “Aarque”), a consolidated subsidiary of Japan Pulp & Paper Group company Ball & Doggett Group Pty Ltd (head office: Melbourne, Australia; “B&D Group”) has made the decision to acquire the business assets of Jenrite NZ Limited (“Jenrite”) and concluded a business transfer agreement to that end.

Jenrite has developed its sales activities in the New Zealand sign and display market with a focus on wide format-related products. In particular, the Company has utilized its strength in customer support services based on a wealth of knowledge and experience to build good business relationships with excellent customers and suppliers throughout New Zealand.

Aarque, which joined the B&D Group in 2018, continues to expand its business throughout the New Zealand sign and display market as the only company capable of providing a one-stop option for everything from printer and hardware sales, technical services, sales of a wide range of substrate media including paper and films, to the supply of inks and other commodities. This acquisition of Jenrite will enable Aarque to further enhance its lineup of products and customer support services, and strengthen its operations base in the growing New Zealand sign and display market as the Company aims to further advance its service offerings to customers.

In addition to its traditional paper wholesaling business, Japan Pulp & Paper is working to enhance its profitability through new developments in growth areas and the expansion of its business activities, and striving to improve its corporate value.
