Japan Pulp & Paper Co., Ltd. (Head office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, President & CEO: Akihiko Watanabe) has published its Japan Pulp & Paper Group Integrated Report 2024 (English version) and made it available on the company’s website.
The OVOL Japan Pulp & Paper Group issues its integrated report as a means of enhancing dialogue and communication with the group’s stakeholders. In response to feedback on the previous report, which was considered difficult to read due to the large amount of information and text, we thoroughly discussed what information our stakeholders are seeking. We focused on refining the content while enhancing the details of our group's efforts to realize our long-term vision. This report includes a review of the Medium-term Business Plan 2023 and a detailed explanation of the newly launched Medium-term Business Plan 2026. Additionally, we have introduced new content such as our group's value creation process, action plans, and KPIs for each material issue, derived from a long-term perspective through backcasting.
Furthermore, the report includes specific content that makes it easier to visualize how our group's business strategy is related to actual operations, such as “Value Creation Example” and messages from group officers and employees active in the field, titled “Account from the Frontlines,” which were also part of the previous report.
Our group is committed to the Corporate Philosophy of valuing integrity, fairness, and harmony, and aims to carve a better future for society and the environment through the practice of change, challenge, and creation. We hope that this integrated report will help stakeholders better understand our group's sincere commitment to business, which begins and ends with our corporate philosophy.
We will continue to actively disseminate information, including the publication of integrated reports, and strive to further improve communication with our stakeholders, including investors, and customers and business partners who form part of our supply chain.
The Japanese version is also available on the company’s website.
