Japan Pulp & Paper Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Tokyo, Japan; Representative Director, President & CEO: Akihiko Watanabe; hereinafter “the Company”) hereby announces that its consolidated subsidiary, Ball & Doggett Pty Ltd (Head Office: Melbourne, Australia), has acquired the business of Caspak Products Pty Ltd (Head Office: Melbourne, Australia; hereinafter “Caspak”).
As part of the Japan Pulp & Paper Group's OVOL Medium-term Business Plan 2026, one of the strategies for the Non-Japan Wholesaling segment is to strengthen the sales of high-value-added products, such as flexible packaging materials, by incorporating complementary M&A into our existing sales network. By acquiring the business of Caspak, which has a strong presence in the flexible packaging sector of the food industry, the Ball & Doggett Group aims to reinforce its position as a leading company in the paper distribution industry in Oceania and will continue to enhance its business segments across the group and strive for further growth.
