Japan Pulp & Paper Co., Ltd. (Head office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, President & CEO Akihiko Watanabe) has published its Japan Pulp & Paper Group Integrated Report 2026 (English version) and made it available on the company’s website.
Our group is advancing its business activities towards realizing the goals laid out in OVOL Vision 2030: To become the world’s leading paper distribution group, a group that contributes to a sustainable society and the global environment, and a corporate group that strives to be considered a trustworthy and engaging partner both within and beyond the paper industry. In this year’s Integrated Report, we present our current position and future growth strategies on the path to realizing OVOL Vision 2030, as well as our initiatives for creating new economic and social value, from both financial and non-financial perspectives in an easy-to-understand manner.
In this fiscal year’s report, we placed particular emphasis on enhancing the communication of our value creation story, based on feedback and review results from both internal and external stakeholders on the 2025 edition. We introduced a new section at the start of the report, “Key Points of the 2026 Report,” which presents a clear view of the group’s strengths and key initiatives for realizing OVOL Vision 2030. We also positioned the “Message from the President” at the core of our value creation story, providing a more detailed explanation of our progress. Our value creation examples now also visually depict the value creation flow, while the section introducing our business segments more clearly articulates our group’s unique strengths and the value it provides.
In addition, this year we introduced our DX strategy as a standalone theme, highlighting our “offensive” and “defensive” DX initiatives aimed at enhancing competitiveness. Furthermore, the report features value creation examples from our initiatives communicating the value of paper to the next generation and creating markets for environmentally conscious products. Through these examples, we provide concrete illustrations of how the group leverages the proposal-making abilities, technological strengths, and organizational capabilities it has cultivated over time to create both social and economic value.
Guided by our mission of “carving a better future for society and the environment,” the group aims to realize both a sustainable society and enhanced corporate value and will continue to promote sustainable management while engaging in ongoing dialogue with stakeholders.
