The group recognizes the importance of initiatives to ensure respect for human rights that encompass the supply chain, we formulated the Japan Pulp & Paper Group Human Rights Policy to clarify the group’s thinking toward human rights.

The group has identified the “supply chain” as a material issue in order to ensure the stable supply of paper and other products to society and to promote sustainability throughout the supply chain.

As the group expands its business activities, it recognizes that it is essential to reduce the environmental impact on communities and to achieve coexistence and co-prosperity through social and economic contributions. As such, the group has identified “communities” as one of its material issues.
